I guess not smoking indoors…

6 09 2009

does not apply to Clubs. Interesting I thought that law applied to everywhere in Florida. I went to a club, called Seville on Thursday, to see how it was. Holy crap, It was so foggy in there from everyone smoking. When I first arrived in the club I was surprised that people were allowed to smoke inside the building.

Either they are breaking the law, or the law does not apply to clubs and bars. So after that night, when I came home, I smelt like I rolled around in an ashtray, which is quite disgusting. But hmm, what Can I do?

Anyways, lately I have been playing Call of Duty: World at War a lot with my friend Marshall. lst night me and him stayed up in my dorm till 5 in the morning. I have gotten pretty awesome in the game. Been mercing people left and right. Yesterday, Marshall taught me some tricks of the game, since he really rocks at that game, he is ranked 309 in the world.

So our little 1-on-1 match, when I went back online people were so much easier to kill. It was awesome. I’m starting to become a real wrecking machine online, going 21-10.

Last night, I also put in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, for the first time in a while. I have to say, my skills still held up in that game. As I crawled on the battlefield, the sound of explosions ringing through my ears, my eyes caught site of an object moving in the distance. Bringing my Barrett .50 Caliber to my eye, aiming at the distant object, slowly pulling the trigger and acquiring a head shot. It felt nice.

Well, it is late. Good Night everyone :)

Hopeful DSi features

10 07 2009

After a couple days having the DSi I have compiled a list of hopeful features and apps that could be implemented in the DS. Here we go.

First off, I believe that Nintendo should take Microsofts approach to things and incorporate social networking into the DSi.

APPLICATIONS
-Twitter = Come on everyone has twitter now and days. People just sit around twiterring away their life. For those without a smartphone ir something a Twitter app would be great for mobile tweeting.
-E-mail = Honestly, with the browser you can e-mail just fine. Just the hassle of logging in everytime and then navigating to each site.
-News Service = A place to get all your news.

UPGRADES
-Avatars = Come on guys, as much fun as everyone has making their mii’s. There needs to be a DSi version. While be able to be used in downloadable titles.
-Tabbed Browsing = Honestly, after the implementation of tabs in about every browser I’m surprised the DSi browser does not have it.
-Browser access to pictures = To be able to e-mail the pictures you take. Or to save pictures from the internet would be cool.

I mean, yeah most of these additions eill never happen. Probably because they are buisness oriented, but it doesn’t mean it wouldn’t be a welcomed addition.

My only beef with the DSi store is the lack if content flowing into the store. There needs to be some sort if weekly update thing. And, whats up with applications like Matio Calculator and Mario Watch. Are they serious?

A big addition I think that needs to be developed is a Nintendo social networking site. Now that the DSi can access the internet oretty much anytime. Here you can upload photos, keep a record of all your friends codes, and possibly show what games you have been playing. This would also go with the Wii.

I don’t know I think that stuff would be cool. Be prepared for future updates to this post.

I’m Impressed

8 07 2009

I really am. Right now I am typing this, looking at my screen, with the faint clicking noises of the virtual keyboard ringing in my ear. Right now, I am typing this entry with my Nintendo DSi.

Despite the lack of Flash support, the browsing experience is amazing. Coming from the PSP browser this is a lot better and more enjoyable browsing experience.

If you ever browsed the internet with the PSP you probably experienced the “Nit enough memory” message. Well, even on some really graphic intensive websites, joystiq, I was successfully able to load the page with no hassle.

The biggest plus is the virtual keyboard which makes typing a breeze. Anyways, I just wanted to express mu love to my new DSi.

There’s some things I would add to the DSi, which is now possible with the new DSi shop. But, that will be for another post. Cheers all!
