Advanced Placement U.S. History

As the school week winds down, people are getting sweaty palmed. Why are they getting sweaty palmed? Because starting this week on Monday and ending next Friday test will be issued to students. The test to end all high school tests, the AP tests. 

For those that don’t know Advanced Placement (AP) are classes aimed at college bound students. When students pass the AP Test they are rewarded with college credit. Basically, the classes are college level classes taught at the High School. 

Anyways, tomorrow I get the unfortunate task on taking the AP U.S. History test. It’s going to be fun! (/Sarcasm) The test consists of 80 killer multiple-choice questions and 3 essays. This is going to be interesting.

FSPA

This past weekend I went to FSPA (Florida Scholastic Press Association). I accompanied my school to Tampa to attend this convention. The convention itself was very very fun, as I had my best friend Billy Snyder with me. We had a blast hanging out with some girls, filming, and just swimming in the pool.

This year, our school, was granted the privilege of shooting and editing the closing ceremony film. This required our film department to pull all nighters for 2-days. Fortunately for me, I fell asleep both days, as I was one of our main camera-men. 

Some of the kids at my school can barely use a camera, it really is sad. Its a good thing that our teacher had me there to help them out. Anyways, that came out just dandy, but as a result of us dong it we were not able to enter any contests.

That does not mean we got no rewards, I, won the only award for our school. I have the best Media Web Site in the whole state of Florida. I feel special Yup well, my weekend was a blast ^_^ I can’t wait for next years FSPA.

Bill and Matt’s Computer Aid

So me and my friend started our own business last week. We had help with networking out from our computer teacher who let us help teach his class. Well anyways today we had our first customer.

She was a nice old lady. She needed help learning how to take pictures off her camera. We had also helped her learn how to purchase items off the internet. Despite these simple to do things, we spent 2 1/2 hours over her house helping her.

It was a very nice learning experience. We got some job experience and we learned a few things on our pricing. Though we did earn $95 dollars from this. We split it and I earned $40. Thats awesome!

Well I hope we get some more customers soon. This business is shaping up great!

Happy New Year

Happy New Year everyone!

Ahh the year 2007 is gone as we enter 2008. This year I believe is going to be filled with lots of stories and Video games, haha! w00t, go me! Well my new year was a blast, spent with the family and with one friend. I played my PS3 ALL day long haha. Then at midnight we shot up some fireworks, which were just gorgeous.

So…anyways….HAPPY NEW YEAR!
