Welcome to a brand new world….

The mountains tower over the towns as the townsmen go about their daily business. The blacksmith waddles towards his grinder and furnace and the butcher opens shop for the day.

The day seems normal, the gaurds at post as I enter the village. Gleeming towards me as I walk in with my armor and my swords. Blood dripping from my brow from the days hunt.

What did I just get back from hunting? A mighy dragon. This is no ordinary world…it is a world once ruled by dragons….and they are back. It is SKYRIM!

Fall Semester – junior year

Well, this is it, today marked the end of my junior yearin college. This year has been a rough one but I perceviered through the hardship and came out on top. I havedone really well thissemester in all my classes.

Not only did I do well but I learned quite a lot. I can not wait untill I start looking for a job in my field. Coding is so interesting to me. Well, yeah…untill then I will continue to learn. I definitely learned a lot about life this semester as well. I can’t talk a lot about what happened but all I know is that I am definitely a better and stronger person.

Mybest friend is coming home from afghanistan in a couple days and I sincerely can not wait to see him.it has been forever since I seen him and this is the perfect time of the yearfor him to come home to his beloved family.

Well it is rather late at night, time for me to hit the sack. Adios.

Thanksgiving

Well, here we are the thanksgiving season upon us. This year so far has been hectic. I am really grateful and tnankful to my family for supportingme through some hard times I have encountered.

I hope everyone is giving thanks this holiday season, if not to your family to at least the troops that are over seas protecting the country you love

Start of my 3rd year

Oh boy, I can not believe that I am a Junior already in college. Oh how time is flying by. But, I am having a lot of fun and working hard so I hope that it will pay off in the end. I will definitely have to work for an internship for this year.

I am taking some serious software engineering courses this semester.

Software engineering 1
Intermediate programming
Database and entity relationships
Business and professional communications
Introduction to operations research

Really fun classes. Fortunately I have some awesome teachers so that helps a lot.

This year, I made a promise to myself that I would be more outgoing this year and talk to more people and not keep to myself. I already made a ton of new friends and some lady friends lol.

But right now I have to go and finish my homework, so stay frosty everyone

2nd year down….2 more to go

Well my second year of college is down. Overall it was great, if not fantastic. Ended the year getting all a’s in my classes and starting up with my major courses. Did a lot of programming and expect a lot more over the coming years. I am loving this and I enjoy it so much. It is funny I had no problem with beginning programming, actually found it easy. I really live logical problems! I need to continue with this field.

The only thing that gets me is the how do I go out and find internships and everything. I need to go out and find one. I guess next year I will go to my guidance counselor and ask.

On another note I did get accepted into Upsilon Pi Epsilon which is a computer science honors society. And now I am historian of this lovely organization. I am excited.

Anyways updates on my blog, art, and everything will be coming more often now. So yeah.

Freaking awesome

Just fantastic I say.
What’s better? My Black Ops is still in the system and I can’t get the game out. Freaking amazing I say. Now to spend money I don’t have to buy a new one. Heh. Wonderful.

Motivation

I just finished watching The Social Network with 2 of my best friends. Not only was this a great movie but it has giving me motivation. No, not to make a facebook clone in an attempt to make some quick money. I am talking about my genuine ideas.

Ideas, that can genuinely generate revenue. I have plenty of ideas, now is the time to take some sort of action and doing something with my ideas instead of sitting on my ass.

So here is to attempting to make something of my ideas. Here is to life. And lastly, here is to having motivation to stop being lazy and having everything handed to me.

Shattering

Something never change,  just like people.  You can wait all you want her her/him to grow up and realize what he got is more important than what he wants.

But sometimes,  things change a lot.  Sometimes, a giant dragon long thought to be dead awakens deep within the world changing the face of the planet forever.  Sometimes enemies can be unlikely allies.  And other times… the world as you know it… won’t be there.

A great shattering has happened…

From my Droid: College round 2

So far this semester has been tons of fun. Pike has been treating me good, we just had our rush weeks and got a bunch of new pledges. The campus is still amazingly beautiful…and so are the ladies

This semester I started my major courses. I have java, C++, macroeconomics, calculus 2, and statistics. It is a pretty heavy semester I am not gonna lie. But I think if I work hard I should be able prevail victorious.

I am loving my new apartment style dorm also. When I say new, I mean it. The building was just completed before this semester started. Which is nice, I get to break it in lol.

But, right now I need some rest before class tomorrow, just wanted to do a quick update of my life.

From My Droid: Rating Systems

I’m laying on my bed reminiscencing about the good days of Socom 2. I loved the rating system, it was based on talent…or who can cheat the best. Anyways it was based on your rating in the leaderboards. The higher you are up the boards, the different icon you are given.

Anyways, I found that this was a good way on telling apart who was good and who was a scrub..Damn butter sticks!

I miss those days. Call of Duty’s prestige system is just a measurement on how long a player has been playing not exactly how good he is. If q company could some create a hybrid rating system of leveling up and world rank, it would develop a more competitive environment.

The sad part of this? Besides the fact this will never happen…it’s the reason why. it is not because it can’t be done, and I’m sure it has been thought of before. It’s The fact cheaters and hackers will plague the system, as what happened with socom.

Anyways I went on a tangent there…oh well. I guess all I’m asking for is a rating/leveling system that is based on skill more than how long you play the game. And the fact that I miss world leaderboards that dictate your rank. Miss my wings

Thinking about the old Socom days makes me wonder how the next game is going to work. BTW, can someone shed light on how ranks worked in Confrontation?
